Greetings to my  friends – old and new!

Once you tap into your own passions and know what lights up your face you will live a more fulfilled life.  Let’s face it, if the time creeps along in your “day job” and you can’t wait to get out of there; you may not be exploring and living out your dream career and life purpose.

My Dad wanted me to work for the government like he did.  My professor in college encouraged me to become a journalist.  I took the intro government test in a large room with dingy green walls and sterile desks.  By the end of the test I felt as if I was suffocating.  I knew that was not right for me at the age of 18.  I did receive a degree in journalism and promptly got a job at The Macon Telegraph and News as the obituary clerk.  I lasted 2 weeks at that job.  Soon after that I feel in love with the idea of working with dolphins.  I was obsessed with the idea.  My passion lead me to training dolphins at large amusement parks like the Six Flags variety.  It was wonderful, however the $600 per month did not cover my rent, car payment and living expenses.  So on my days off I found a straight commission job in outside sales.  Those 45 calls per day and 3 face to face appointments was my “boot camp” that ultimately prepared me to my truest career passion of all.

Twenty five years ago, I found a company that specialized in helping women look and feel their best from head to toe.  As a girly girl who devoured fashion magazines and tried to duplicate the looks with homemade clothes and hand me down make-up, I fell in love with the company I still represent – BeautiControl.

With the head to toe image tools they provided, I loved helping women transform their “look” and observe them become more and more self confident.  To this day, I look forward to what the day will unfold.  I love our spa products and spa experience; but I my true passion is IMAGE!

So here are 6 tried and true components to your image that will give you confidence when you prepare for the day:

  1. Skin Care to provide radiant skin
  2. Know the best colors near your face and wear the correct make-up for your unique coloring
  3. Know your body type
  4. Know your fashion personality
  5. Learn your face shape for the best hairstyles, glasses and earrings
  6. Build a core wardrobe

When you understand yourself using these steps then you can pull your “look” together and know you are projecting your best image.  The best news is that you can forget about yourself and how you look and focus on others.  Your radiance will shine through in every situation.  People will respond to you more positively when you are true to yourself.

I will be offering workshops and newsletters on these topics.  Get ready to discover your true self and fine tune every aspect of your life!

Love and blessings,
